Today we will spend a little time looking at the types of libraries. However, before we do so, let us look at the definition of the word library. Note this was already covered in the lesson, “Introduction to TGHS library.”
Definition Time – Library
Some of you are leaving the definition as “a place where books are kept.” Please remember that yes, we do have a lot of books in a library, but a library is a place we go to get information.
We get information from print as well as non-print sources. Check out the video in the next section for some more information.
